What to Expect

Working with Delightful Designs is a collaborative, step-by-step process designed to be calm, clear, and enjoyable.

 

Step 1: Inquiry

Reach out via email or Facebook message to express interest.

 

Step 2: Intake & Quote

You’ll complete a short intake form so I can understand your project and provide an accurate quote and timeline.

 

Step 3: Booking

Your project is officially booked once:

• The deposit is paid

• The client agreement is signed

 

Step 4: Project Kickoff

I’ll confirm your start date and outline what to expect next.

 

Step 5: Design & Formatting

I create your cover, interior, and any included branding. You’ll receive watermarked and/or low-resolution files with suggested concepts. Once you choose and confirm a concept, you will have up to two rounds of revisions.

 

Step 6: Approvals

You’ll approve:

• Cover direction

• Interior layout

• Pricing (for publishing)
  before final files are prepared or uploaded.

 

Step 7: Publishing or Delivery

Once final payment is received, unwatermarked/high resolution files are delivered and/or your book is uploaded to your chosen platform(s).
